To the south of the great room is a master suite with a small hallway separating the bathroom from the bedroom – and a door that can separate the great room from both for added privacy. The bedroom features a beautiful queen size bed, matching high end furniture, large closet, and a walk out to a small balcony overlooking the lakefront. The full bathroom includes a spacious garden tub and shower.
The staircase to the second floor is next to the foyer, and leads to a pleasant balcony overlooking the great room and 2nd story windows provide a good view of the water. On either side of the balcony is a large bedroom, each with a Queen bed, upscale furnishings, and a view of the lake from the dormer windows. A full bathroom with shower/tub combo is located off the rear of the balcony.
Outside the rear entry door is a set of covered steps that leads to the detached garage. On the second floor of the garage is the private and oversized master suite, which features a king size bed, cable TV, cozy sofa for lounging, and an en suite bathroom with a shower. This is the perfect escape for those with infants or young children that need quiet time away from the rest of the group.
The lower level features a spacious family room and direct access to the patio overlooking the lake and the lakefront. A beautiful leather sectional offers comfortable seating and the large flat screen TV creates an ideal spot for children or young adults to enjoy movies and games.
A bedroom with two full size beds is located off the north side of the family room, ideal for children or singles. An additional bedroom with a Queen bed and a full bathroom with a shower are located on the south side of the lower level.
A slightly sloping side yard to the south allows space for children to play, and landscape stone steps lead down to the lakefront. A stone patio near the deck off the dining room is the perfect space to enjoy grilling and outdoor meals, or as an overlook for watching the lakefront activities. A seasonal dock is provided for guest use, and the natural beach is ideal for children and wading!
Stone Crest is located just 3 miles south of Penn Yan, and is within a short drive to the Windmill Farm and Craft Market. Keuka Springs Winery is less than a mile away and offers a fabulous variety of wines for tasting and purchase.
