Girls Weekend

Great spot for a long weekend stay. Very clean and modern. Off the main road of Seneca lake but short drive to all the wineries and breweries.

Extended weekend

The neighbors were very friendly, easy access to lake, kids (9 and 10) explored the surroundings all weekend, parents favorite spot was am coffee on the front deck looking at the lake. We will be back.

We had a great time. The cottage was very clean, looked recently renovated, and comfortable. It was nice to have direct access to the water so we could jump into the lake a couple of times a day. Though next time I would bring swim shoes for the rocky beach. There was a caretaker on the property that introduced himself shortly after our arrival. He was super helpful and friendly, even let us use floating devices he had for lounging in the lake We rented the home via VRBO but got the royal treatment right away from FLPP. I got a phone call shortly after booking from a friendly agent who answered all my questions and gave good suggestions about arrival, grocery shopping etc. All communication was streamlined. The keyless entry was painless. All and all we had a good experience and would consider coming back.

Small but comfy

The small house was very clean, modestly furnished, but updated. Big enough for two couples or a small family. We had access to the lake right in front and swam every day. Next time I would bring water shoes since it's all rocks. The caretaker of the property was super friendly and helpful. Small wishlist: a few regular sized drinking glasses, and a small table on the porch for drinks or a snack while sitting outside

Peaceful hidaway

A perfect little cottage in the perfect spot to watch the sunset on Seneca Lake. Good proximity to shopping and eating in Watkins Glen and great wineries. We will be back.

This is the second year we started at On the Rocks. The owner made is feel very welcome to be staying there, as did the many neighbors we saw. The location can't be best- mere steps to the beach. The view from the porch is wonderful for watching sunsets. We enjoyed visiting the many breweries both nearby and those further away. The house is small, but there was more than enough room for the two of us and our dog, and even for the four of us when our son and his fiance came for the weekend.

Perfect and cute!

For the 4 of us, this was a perfect little house. Everything was spotless and new inside, and kitchen was very well equipped. We loved the view of the lake and sunsets each night. Would definitely recommend for two or four people ! The welcome package was a nice touch , very good coffee!

Seneca Lake Getaway

This was a great getaway spot for a small family of 3 or 4 people. The lake views were excellent and the neighborhood was super chill. We came during NASCAR weekend at Watkins Glen and enjoyed the race as well. We would definitely one back to this property again!

Nice lakefront property

This was a great place for our family of 4. Very clean and nicely updated inside. Right across the street from the water with clear view of the lake. Rocky beach that was dog friendly :). Close to neighbors but everyone was very nice and never had any issues with noise!

Lovely waterfront location
