Sunrise Lake House

What a wonderful 6 nights at Sunrise Lake House to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. From the stunning views, to the gourmet kitchen, everything was spectacular. We cannot wait to return in 2025.

This is a beautiful home and is mostly like the photographs on the vacation site. It’s spacious and the view alone is worth the rental price. We rented a pontoon boat for one of the days and we were able to tie off the boat right at the dock at the house. I also love that I can launch my paddle board right from the house without having to drive to a public launch. I would definitely stay here again.

There was a friend group of five people that need a year to plan any kind of get together. The house had everything and more. The sunrises were amazing over the lake and there was something beautiful to look at our every window. Beds were comfy and house had a cozy feel. Only recommendation would be to upgrade the couch. Definitely has seen a lot of love and gathering over the years. Can’t even call it a critique since all five of us were able to nap on it at once after returning from the wine tour. Loved this place and recommend for large parties!

The property exceeded our expectations and the pictures really do not do the property justice.  Although storms had rolled through the area the previous week and made some of the lakefront area hard to use, the dock and floating dock were amazing and everyone enjoyed jumping off and hanging out on.  There are so many outdoor areas to enjoy with the many different decks and patios all with stunning views.  Also the house is stocked with all you could need for a rainy day as we did have a  few.  The kids and adults enjoyed the air hockey, board games, and arcade game.  The location of the house is also great.  You are close enough to town to enjoy what main street or the lake area has to offer, a short walk to the Onanda Park, but because of the way the property is landscaped and situated you have much privacy and feel as though you are in the woods.  This house was all that we hoped it would be to relax, enjoy the lake, and visit with family.  We look forward to renting again.

This was our second visit to this house and it was as great as the first time.  Thoroughly enjoyed being right on the lake, being able to get on the water and just relax.  The firepit at night under the stars, along with S'mores for the kids, was a great way to end the day.  We also had to the opportunity to take advantage of activities nearby - pontoon rental (plus tubing!), tour of Sonnenberg and caught a show at CMAC.  An overall fantastic week!

It exceeded our expectations.  The equipped kitchen and BBQ was excellent making mealtime a nice experience.  There was nice activities to do together and plenty of rooms to have your own space if desired.  We never lacked for something to do at the house or in the surrounding area.

We had a great week. We all enjoyed the waterfront access and the canoe, paddle board, and kayak. The tram was very helpful getting up and down to the water. The patio space and deck were perfect too. We cooked at the house every day and the kitchen had everything we needed, and the grill was used every night.

We booked this house for a family trip, including 3 siblings, 2 spouses and our 91 year old mother. The house was absolutely fantastic and perfect for our stay. The house is beautiful with a gorgeous view of the lake from every room. The outdoor area was also stunning with beautiful landscaping and seating. The elevator going down to the water was also fantastic. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was fantastic and very well appointed. We cooked most of our meals in, so it was perfect. We absolutely loved the house and location, and would love to rent the home again in the future. It's certainly a magical place. The management company was easy to work with and very responsive with any questions while planning this trip. I truly can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this beautiful home. My family enjoyed a weekend here at this beautiful property. The home was so warm and inviting. The kitchen was stocked with every kind of cooking item you could need and there was no shortage of dishes. The landscaping took our breath away. Not only is the property immaculate, but it's also private too. My daughter enjoyed taking the tram up and down and the adults did too haha. We had such lovely stay!

The photos are accurate. The home was clean and comfortable and I can’t say enough about the view and the property. We enjoy the outside as much as the inside communication with the property manager was a little on the slow side, but they were very nice and accommodating once we spoke. No complaints. The only downside in the home is that the oven doesn’t work all that well. Took forever to roast anything but no problem, we found plenty of great restaurants to enjoy and spent less time cooking and cleaning! The landscaping is gorgeous and the patio and deck in the back is incredible. The view is beautiful all day long, not just the sunrise. And we even got to watch a thunderstorm from the living room. What a treat to just launch my paddleboard right from the dock in front of the house without having to load it in and out of my car. It was wonderful being able to pull up right to the dock in a rented pontoon boat to pick up our family and then drop them off. My grandkids enjoyed playing on the beach with their bubbles and yard toys. They were so sad to leave and took an extra few minutes to say goodbye to the house before we left. The home is spacious and our family was able to spread out, relax, and just enjoy ourselves without getting in each other’s way. There were plenty of toys and games all throughout the house to keep everyone busy. The air hockey table was a real treat! Highly recommend this home.

This is by far one of the best vrbo’s we have ever stayed in! The house was very clean and spacious. All of the furniture was newer and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the linens weren’t dated. The kitchen was fully stocked and it wasn’t a bunch of hand me downs - new white plates, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, appliances, an amazing smoker/grill outside, etc. Even though we didn’t have young children, there were games and books and toys. The TV was new and they had a Nintendo loaded with 600 games. And the best for last … the location … the manicured landscape … the view … the sunrises. The outdoor space exceeded our expectations. Multiple levels of sitting including a deck, a patio, a boardwalk, a dock, and Adirondack’s by the water. We even saw a double rainbow after a short rain. I wish I could attach pictures to the review. Highly recommend this property! We will be back to stay…

The home and property were beautiful. We really enjoyed the multiple outdoor levels and tram to take you up and down to the dock. The home was very spacious and clean. We did find it inconvenient that the management company does not provide all of the paper towel, toilet paper, and trash bags that would be needed for a group of 8 for 3 nights (have never run into that before in the numerous other listings we’ve stayed at).

We loved this place. Great set up for 3 couples to gather for a winter long weekend. We cooked, played games around the dining room table, and watched the Super Bowl. The hardscaping of the backyard is incredible. One suggestion for winter renters it would be nice to have some throw blankets for hanging out in the living area.

This lake house is absolutely beautiful from the beautifully decorated spacious interior to the incredible outside landscaping and view of the lake. This property is spacious and well maintained, it looks recently renovated. The kitchen, dining room and living room all look out on the lake. The property is beautifully landscaped. I wish we could have been there in the summer! Unfortunately, we had a rainy/snowy November weekend- but the house was still very cozy and comfortable. It looks exactly like the pictures online.

We loved the weekend we spent here. The house is beautiful, and has a great set up for two families of 4. The house has great views of the lake and the tram made it easy to get up and down to the lakefront. The rental included everything we needed for entertainment for the weekend, including canoe, kayak, firepits, and an arcade machine. Great time, would definitely go back.

This house is the absolute GEM of Canandaigua Lake! You see breathtaking water views from every room in the house and have all modern amenities at your disposal. The game room is particularly amazing. Our kids loved hanging out up there playing the arcade games and air hockey while we sat out by the custom fire pit taking in the majesty of the lake. A short tram ride takes you down to the water's edge where you can swim, paddle boat and make a second fire if you so choose. The master bedroom and bath are spectacular with their own patio views and soaking tub/walk in shower! Only a 6 minute drive into Canandaigua to enjoy their new craft breweries and fabulous food! We will DEFINITELY be back and can't imagine staying anywhere else! FIVE STARS!
