Located in the heart of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail and a short drive to Ithaca, Watkins Glen, and Geneva, this charming lake cottage has plenty to offer everyone regardless of whether you’re planning a romantic weekend away, a family vacation or a gathering of friends. The parking area leads to the side door entry, which opens up into the open living room and dining room. Huge picture windows facing the lake provide a phenomenal view. To the left is a spacious kitchen with beautiful, brand new quartz counter tops. Sit at the island bar area and visit with the chef of the group while they zip through the well equip kitchen. Situated just off the kitchen you’ll find both a full bathroom with stand-up shower, as well as a laundry room. To the far right of the kitchen are two bedrooms, ideal for children and those with limited mobility. Located just upstairs is a spacious king bedroom, which boasts a fabulous lake view via large picture windows. You can really feel the lakefront atmosphere here! An additional bedroom on the second floor offers a queen bed and closet, as well as a pleasant view of the lake on the north side. Both bedrooms share hall access to a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Level lakefront this beautiful is hard to find on Seneca Lake! Over 50 feet of natural, wade in beach awaits you, along with a large permanent dock and even three kayaks for guests’ enjoyment. In the evenings, feel free to gather around the firepit and enjoy a quiet evening among the stars, listening to the waves gently lap the shoreline. The View at Lodi Point is conveniently located nearby many area attractions – the Wagner Winery is just 1 1/2 miles down the street, and don’t forget to stop by the breweries and the distillery too on your wine tour travels! Fine dining can be enjoyed at a variety of restaurants and pubs in the area, and a large Wegmans Supermarket in Geneva provides an excellent selection of groceries and supplies to vacationers.

Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting. The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time. This includes both day and overnight guests.

Cousin Weekend Getaway

We stayed in October 2024 for a long weekend. This home was neat and clean. Had everything we needed. Beautiful waterfront home with stunning views. We appreciated the ample supply of paper goods which allowed us to skip a last minute stop on our first day. Beds were comfortable, fire pit made for a cozy evening under the stars. Close to Watkins Glen State Park and many things to do. We would definitely rent this home again.

The property is in a great location and has a wonderful view. The living area and kitchen are open and great for connecting with loved ones. The bedrooms and bathrooms are adequate. The steps are dangerous and need upgraded.

Met all our needs!

The location is perfect, close to wineries, a park, and couldn’t have had a better view of the lake.

This was a great stay! Couldn’t have been better, our ONLY complaint was that we ran out of toilet paper in one of the bathrooms, which is a small complaint. The location was great and we appreciated that they kept the kayaks and chairs out for us, unfortunately it was too cold and rainy to use them, but we still appreciated having the option, wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you very much! The rental was gorgeous and comfortably fit all 8 of our friends.

Great swimming and location

We had a wonderful stay. The lake was so clear and the walk-in beach made it easy to get in and out of the water with our 2 year old. We loved using the provided kayaks and fishing off the dock. The location was great, less than half a mile to a small state park with great playgrounds and a boat launch. Also just a short drive to some nice wineries. There are window air conditioners in the 2 upper bedrooms but not the 2 lower bedrooms. The living room was also air conditioned. The only problem we had was the water in the washing machine stained our clothes with rust. I think there should be a sign warning other guests so they won't have the same issue. Also it says there's parking for 4 vehicles, but it really fits 3 in the driveway.

Bachelorette Get Away

We rented for a small group of us girls (mostly in our early 30's) to get away, have some relaxation time by/on the water, and go to a couple wineries to celebrate our friend getting married! It was a beautiful, quaint house right on the water with a beautiful set up outside for a campfire! Several of the girls commented that they were going to save the property for possible future visits, we had a fantastic time!

We had a great time kids loved being able to swim and go off the dock. Water was clean and clear as well as we got perfect weather it was nice to be able to wake and not have to go anywhere far to get to beach. Slept well and beds in my room were comfortable. Guest room upstairs mattress had a dent in middle but probably needs replacing other then that it was amazing! Oh and some pots were really old and chipped and dangerous to cook in. Frying pans specifically need to be replaced.

The youngest members of our group loved being paddled over to the park at the point. Plus easy access to wonderful hikes in Watkins Glen and Ithaca and of course the Wine Trail. We had a lovely stay at The View at Lodi Point! The house is as advertised, and it was enough space for four adults and four children (8 and under). The house was ready for us when we arrived, and Premier Properties even called us to make sure we were all set! The house is right on the lake, and the view is both breathtaking and charming. There are plenty of seats to sit by the water, and we used the kayaks & life jackets provided to enjoy some time on the lake. The weather wasn't great for a good portion of our visit, but it didn't matter! We took part in story hour at the library in Ovid, played at the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, shopped at the Waterloo Outlets, and spent a lot of time at the state park with two playgrounds just up the street, a walk away! The park was a pleasant surprise. The owner stopped by to say hi towards the end of our visit, and we learned that he even stacked the wood in the fire pit before our visit to make it easy for us. We would definitely return to The View at Lodi Point and highly recommend it others.

Our parents came from India just two days before our vacation at Lodi Point. The whole family was meeting after a year. We wanted to go somewhere clean and peaceful for a relaxing vacation as they were jet-lagged after the long flight. My parents were ecstatic to see the place and enjoyed the stay thoroughly. The house was very neat and clean, it was beautiful to sit outside with everyone and catch up with year long stories. Thank you very much for giving such a special holiday!! My friends and I, a group of 6, was very happy with our vacation stay. This was a very modest cottage offering a beautiful view of both sunrise and sunset. The area is very quiet even during the day and water was nice and clear. My friends and I all got to enjoy sunbathing on the long dock, paddling in the kayaks offered and played frisbee, football and volleyball on the lawn. Premier Properties was great in getting the cottage ready for our arrival. It was clean, fire pit was set up, and loved the electronic keypad at the front door, made checking in and out so simple! The owner of the cottage stopped by to say hi and to make sure everything was in order for us. He even brought us an extra propane tank for the bbq and lettuce freshly picked from his garden.
