Visit the Dryden Theatre for a Movie Screening
Welcome the upcoming year with a classic film! While the Dryden Theatre (which is part of the Eastman Museum) only recently began their annual New Year?s Eve Dinner & a Movie event, it has quickly become a popular tradition for those who want to celebrate in a laid-back fashion. The fun begins at 7:30 p.m. on December 31 with a holiday meal at the museum?s cafe before the movie. After, guests will watch a screening of The Red Shoes, the classic 1948 film starring Moira Shearer. Tickets to this event are just $25 and include food, a beverage, dessert, and admission to the film. Reservations are required by December 21, 2018.
Enjoy a Delicious Dinner at New York Kitchen
Formally the New York State Wine & Culinary Center, the recently rebranded New York Kitchen is hosting one of the best food and wine events for the new year. The Dr. Konstantin Frank Sparkling Winemaker Dinner pairs that celebrated winery and the chefs at New York Kitchen to create a unique menu of delicious dishes. In total, you?ll be able to enjoy six pairings while a representative from Dr. Frank?s Wine Cellars educates guests on their sparkling wines. After all, it?s not a New Year?s Eve celebration without a bubbly drink! Tickets are $100 each, and the meal will take place from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on December 31.

While the New Year?s Eve festivities at Bristol Mountain Ski Resort haven?t been fully announced yet, you can rest assured that this popular ski resort is going to host an array of excellent family-friendly activities. In previous years, their New Year?s Eve celebration has included a torchlight parade, a fireworks display, and a party with activities geared towards the younger guests.
